The fifth annual MaineStreamers "Swing into Spring" Senior Expo will be held on April 20 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Golf Mill Shopping Center in Niles. The variety of exhibits has been expanded, new programming and entertainment will be provided, and Expo staff is preparing to host an enthusiastic and record crowd of area seniors and their families. Resurrection Healthcare, The Journal & Topics Newspapers, and Chicagoland Senior News will return as Event Partners for 2011. Many Illinois state, Cook County and regional agencies such as the RTA, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and others will join approximately 50 commercial exhibitors expected to be on hand; featuring displays from senior housing, health, financial services, and other providers of products and services that benefit older Americans. Also, Maine Township's Highway Department, Clerk's Office, Assessor's Office, General Assistance, and, of course, the MaineStreamers will be exhibiting. The Expo promises to be a fun and beneficial event for all who attend. Last year's event was a huge success, with approximately 1500 seniors attending to take advantage of health screenings, raffles, entertainment, exhibits and informative presentations. The proven partnership between the MaineStreamers and Golf Mill promises to make the 2012 event the best yet.
