Bullying has become an increasing problem for students everywhere. Dr. Michael Athans, Chief of Psychology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, will address the issue of bullying to parents, teachers, and students. He will discuss the long-term emotional, social, academic/occupational, behavioral, and financial costs of bullying to both the victim and the bully. He will also address direct forms of bullying and those more indirect methods such as cyber-bullying.
