2012 "Swing into Spring" Booths Selling Fast
January 4, 2012 — The buzz surrounding Maine Township's sixth annual Senior Expo continues to flourish, as exhibit spaces sell quickly. "Swing into Spring" will take place on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Golf Mill Shopping Center. The variety of exhibits has been expanded, new programming and entertainment will be provided, and Expo staff is preparing to host an enthusiastic and record crowd of area seniors and their families."Each year, our Senior Expo becomes more successful," says Carol A. Teschky, Supervisor of Maine Township. "We are thrilled that MaineStreamers continually offers this valuable community event and we greatly appreciate the cooperation of the fine folks at Golf Mill."
Resurrection Healthcare, The Journal & Topics Newspapers, and Chicagoland Senior News will return as Event Partners for 2011. Many Illinois state, Cook County and regional agencies such as the RTA, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and others will join approximately 50 commercial exhibitors expected to be on hand; featuring displays from senior housing, health, financial services, and other providers of products and services that benefit older Americans. Also, Maine Township's Highway Department, Clerk's Office, Assessor's Office, General Assistance, and, of course, the MaineStreamers will be exhibiting.
The Expo promises to be a fun and beneficial event for all who attend. Last year's event was a huge success, with approximately 1500 seniors attending to take advantage of health screenings, raffles, entertainment, exhibits and informative presentations. The proven partnership between the MaineStreamers and Golf Mill promises to make the 2012 event the best yet.
